| Product Details: Clinical studies indicate that administration of L-5 hydroxytrytophan (L-5HTP) enhances synthesis of serotonin in the brain. This special product is a combination of natural L-5 HTP from the Griffonia bean and St. John's Wort herb. This combination is intended to provide clinical efficacy by several different mechanisms. In addition, this product is enterically coated to enable the capsules to bypass enzymes in the stomach which would convert L-5 HTP to serotonin prematurely (before reaching the nervous system). The Griffonia simplicifolia extract in this product is guaranteed to contain a minimum of 98% L-%-HTP. |
